What kind of sports facilities can UCLan offer me?
UCLan offers five-star rated sports facilities to enable students to develop essential practical and academic skills.
UCLan is also in the final stages of building a multi-million pound state-of-the-art sports centre, housing world class sporting facilities and equipment. The centre, which launches in January 2011, will aid the development of UCLan’s sporting elite along with providing indoor Olympic quality training areas in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics.
It will have more than 300 retractable bleacher seats and a viewing gallery while it will also act as a multi-use space for regional and national sporting events, conventions and exhibitions.
The new complex will also be home to activity studios, squash courts, changing rooms and multi-functional spaces.
