Gill Rawlinson

Gill Rawlinson, Senior Lecturer

"I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1997 from Liverpool University. I currently work as a senior lecturer at UCLan teaching on the BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy degree.

I also continue to work as a physiotherapy practitioner in the orthopaedic department at Hope Hospital, Salford, specialising in the lower limb.

Since qualifying I have worked in the NHS in London and Manchester and have also worked in English elite sport and private practice.

I completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Injury Management at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2002 and also completed a diploma in injection therapy in 2003.

I am a committee member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Orthopaedic medicine and injection therapy and represent clinical interest groups on the professional practice committee at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy."
