- State-of-the-art Movement Analysis Laboratory is equipped to conduct: advanced motion analysis, force measurement, pressure measurement, muscle and strength assessment, and thermal imagery.
- Clinical placements: International students can complete their clinical placements on the programme alongside UK / EU students (additional supplementary fees applicable).

Students who do not meet the English requirements of the 3-term UFP can join an extended 4, 5 or 6-term course as required from IELTS 3.0 or equivalent. Please contact us for more details.

Gill Rawlinson, Senior Lecturer
"I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1997 from Liverpool University. I currently work as a senior lecturer at UCLan teaching on the BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy degree.
I also continue to work as a physiotherapy practitioner in the orthopaedic department at Hope Hospital, Salford, specialising in the lower limb.
Since qualifying I have worked in the NHS in London and Manchester and have also worked in English elite sport and private practice.
I completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Injury Management at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2002 and also completed a diploma in injection therapy in 2003.
I am a committee member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Orthopaedic medicine and injection therapy and represent clinical interest groups on the professional practice committee at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy."
